This is a great product. I am Reading Teacher and after reading a chapter 5 times a day for an entire school year, it put a serious strain on my voice. At one point, I lost my voice and had to take a few days off to recuperate. Since I teach reluctant readers and readers with learning disabilities, I asked myself: how could I get them to read many novels, become interested in the story, understand the story, and learn how to read, i.e. pronunciation, inflection, and expression. Sure they could read silently, but learning how to read aloud is important too and because the some of the students have learning disabilities, I asked myself would they understand the story better if it was read to them versus reading it to themselves. I did not want to embarrass any of my students by forcing them to read aloud. I felt that they needed to hear the story from a good reader. And since the novels that I use do not have audio recordings, I decided to record myself. And this product works perfectly. I have used it for an entire school year and have not had any problems!
