I bought this for my son's (20 mth old) plane ride across the country. This was a 6 hr direct flight and this portable dvd came in handy. It is truly a portable device with 5 hr of battery life. He did not watch it for more then an hour but it was portable enough to set it up for him when he wanted to watch it. The picture quality was great. I like the small screen size for portability, my son can't tell the difference between a 7" screen and a 10" screen. This product is made of quality material, none of the cheap, flimsy plastic that some electronics have.
